This is a fabulous opportunity based with an established client of ours at Castle Donington. Our client is a leading distribution company and they have an opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join their team. Regular duties will entail:

Supporting customers by phone;
Oversight of the control and admin of allocated accounts;
Carrying out stock takes;
Stock reconciliation;
Maintaining inventory levels;
Supporting quality control;
Providing sales support as required;
Organising all aspects of air freight/material shortages;
Responsibility for Derby office support team;
Support staff with problem solving;
Training and coaching new staff;
Manage staff training;
Lend support with budgets;
Preparation of reports;
Credit limit control and monitoring;
New business development and sales generation;
Analysis of current market trends;
Sales calls - including cold calling;
Negotiation with clients;
Development of business plans;
Supervision of staff in kaizen activity;
Ad hoc duties as required.
