Our client is a well-known and prominent manufacturer, based in the Derby area. The department recruiting customise and check vehicles before being delivered to retailers. The department is constantly seeking to challenge Plant to Retailer lead times, improving delivery performance and reducing costs.

In order to support this function, you would be based with a supplier company and your main duties will consist of:

Developing the best method to achieve highest levels of Safety, Quality and Productivity standards;
Implementation of the best method to demonstrate sustainable improvements;
Training members in the Hub to be able to roll out and sustain required levels of performance;
Supporting logistics partners in the Hub to identify recurrent issues and develop sustainable countermeasures.

Interested parties should have a degree in an Engineering discipline with an element of relevant working experience. It is anticipated that you will probably have a background in quality, process engineering, manufacturing or production engineering. You should also have the ability to think creatively and generate new ideas with deep analysis. Additionally, you should be results driven, a problem solver with good Excel skills.
